Welcome to Eagles Badminton
Our clubs were launched back in 2006, our very first session took place at Emerson Park School with just 8 members, followed shortly by our very first session at Bower Park with just one attendee. There started the launch of Emerson Eagles and Bower Eagles Badminton Clubs. Session numbers have continued to increase and we have now have well over 150 members taking into account adults and juniors of all ages. We are fully accredited and hold the title of 'Premier Club' which shows our coaching standard is approved by BADMINTON England. We now have 2 Primary sessions, 3 secondary sessions, 1 year 10 and above group, 2 Borough Squad training sessions plus an adult session. We entered 4 men’s teams, 2 mixed teams, a ladies team and a ladies pair into the local badminton league giving both adults and older juniors a chance to play competitive badminton.
We have an excellent team of coaches who always have time to help individuals and we advertise our year 10 and above session in schools to assist students taking Badminton as an option within their PE GCSE; our coaches always have time to help any players reach their potential.
We aim to find sessions to suit all ages and abilities. We encourage competitive match play but we also want our sessions to be enjoyable to bring out the best in our players. We work hard and play hard!!
